Description
Succulent pork chops drenched in a creamy peppercorn sauce, combining savory and luxurious flavors for a comforting yet elegant dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Bone-in Pork Chops
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Cracked Peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- Optional: Fresh Thyme or Rosemary
Instructions
- Prepare the pork chops: Season both sides generously with salt and cracked pepper.
- Sear the pork: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, lower heat and add minced garlic, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Deglaze with chicken broth, scraping up bits. Let it reduce for about 2 minutes.
- Add cream and pepper: Stir in heavy cream and cracked peppercorns. Simmer gently for about 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine and serve: Return pork chops to skillet, allowing them to soak in the sauce for a minute. Plate and spoon sauce over chops, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For best results, use pork chops that are about 1 inch thick and avoid overcrowding the pan during searing.
