  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs

  • 1 Egg
  • Fresh Herbs (e.g., Cilantro)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the jalapenos by cutting them in half and removing the seeds.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped herbs.
  3. Spoon the cheese filling into each jalapeno half.
  4. Whisk the egg in a separate bowl and place breadcrumbs in another bowl. Dip each stuffed jalapeno in egg and roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the jalapeno balls until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes). Alternatively, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly and serve with ranch dressing or salsa.
