Description

A delightful combination of crispy bacon and juicy shrimp, infused with the luxurious flavor of black truffles, creating a perfect dish for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 slices thick-sliced bacon
  • 1 oz black truffles or 1 tbsp truffle oil
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives or parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Fold in chopped black truffles or truffle oil and marinate.
  3. Whip cream cheese until smooth, then fold in fresh herbs.
  4. Form small balls of the cream cheese mixture and encase a piece of shrimp in each ball.
  5. Cut bacon slices in half and wrap each shrimp ball, securing tightly.
  6. Arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, seam-side down.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy and shrimp is pink.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or garlic mashed potatoes. These can be prepared ahead of time and frozen before baking.
