- 4 boneless, skinless turkey fillets
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup bread crumbs (panko preferred)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh thyme, sage, and parsley
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Olive oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, water, sugar, and a pinch of salt; bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
- Pat turkey fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix bread crumbs, garlic, and herbs; add melted butter and combine.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Coat turkey fillets in breadcrumb mixture.
- In a skillet, sear fillets in olive oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer seared fillets to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked to 165°F (75°C).
- Plate turkey fillets and spoon cranberry sauce on top.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the turkey; let it rest for 5 minutes after baking to retain juices.
