Ingredients

- 1 small head of green or purple cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
- 2 medium Granny Smith or Fuji apples, cored and sliced
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions
- Finely shred the cabbage using a knife, box grater, or food processor.
- Grate the carrots and mix with the cabbage.
- Core and slice the apples; coat lightly with lemon juice.
- In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar or honey, and celery seed.
- In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, apples, and cranberries; drizzle with dressing and mix until well coated.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness or tang as desired before serving.
Notes
Serve as a side dish for BBQs, potlucks, or family gatherings. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for 3-5 days.
