Description
Delicious bite-sized truffles made with toasted almonds and sweetened shredded coconut, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup almonds, toasted and finely chopped
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Begin by toasting the almonds in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant. Allow them to cool before chopping finely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped almonds, shredded coconut, and condensed milk. Add the vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to 1 hour until firm enough to handle.
- Once chilled, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls.
- If desired, roll each truffle in cocoa powder or shredded coconut to coat completely.
- Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate again until firm. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
Tip: Keep your hands moistened slightly to prevent the mixture from sticking while rolling the truffles.
