Ingredients

- 1 cup eggnog
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat/gluten-free)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggnog, eggs, and sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- If desired, stir in nuts or additional flavors.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Optional: Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use almond or coconut milk mixed with eggs and spices.
