Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 8 fresh figs, sliced
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, approximately 4×4 inches each.
  4. Combine sliced figs, goat cheese, honey, and herbs in a bowl.
  5. Place a generous spoonful of the filling in the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold over the pastry and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
