- 1 package puff pastry
- 8 fresh figs, sliced
- 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares, approximately 4×4 inches each.
- Combine sliced figs, goat cheese, honey, and herbs in a bowl.
- Place a generous spoonful of the filling in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold over the pastry and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with egg wash.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
