Description

Bold and exciting steak bites infused with chili butter, perfect for gatherings and barbecues.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro
  • 12 fresh or dried chilies
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Marinate with salt, pepper, and olive oil for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Make the chili butter by melting butter in a saucepan, adding garlic, and cooking until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chopped chilies and cilantro.
  5. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Drizzle the chili butter over the cooked steak and toss to coat.
  7. Add a squeeze of lime before serving.
  8. Garnish with additional cilantro.

Notes

Cooking in batches prevents overcrowding the pan. Let steak rest before serving.
