Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, crushed
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin pan.
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, whisk in flour, and cook for about a minute.
  4. Slowly add milk, stirring until smooth, and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheeses until melted and creamy, then add a handful of crushed Cheetos.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, beaten eggs, and the rest of the crushed Cheetos.
  7. Spoon the mixture into the muffin pan, filling each cup about three-quarters full.
  8. Top with additional crushed Cheetos and breadcrumbs if desired.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the tops are golden and slightly crispy.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
