- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp Flamin Hot seasoning
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, combine your flour, baking powder, and Flamin Hot seasoning. Gradually stir this mixture into the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Gently fold in the crushed pretzels.
- Spoon the batter into your prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool slightly in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra crispy topping, sprinkle more crushed pretzels on top before baking. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
