- 1 pound fresh strawberries
- 8 ounces dark chocolate (or milk/white chocolate)
- Edible gold leaf
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: Rinse the strawberries gently under cool water and lay them on a paper towel to dry.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip the strawberries: Carefully hold each strawberry by the stem, dip it into the melted chocolate, and allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
- Add the gold dust: Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle a tiny amount of edible gold leaf onto the chocolate-covered strawberries.
- Set and serve: Place the strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow them to cool until the chocolate has hardened.
Notes
Ensure strawberries are dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere properly.
