- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken in a resealable bag, pour marinade over it, seal bag, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat Your Grill or Oven: Preheat grill to medium-high or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the Chicken: Grill chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or bake for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Rest Before Serving: Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve: Serve sliced chicken with your favorite sides.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinade. Ensure chicken is well-coated for best flavor absorption.
