A flavorful Greek yogurt marinade transforms chicken into a tender and juicy dish, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.52 pounds boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (dill, thyme, or parsley)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and herbs in a mixing bowl.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add chicken to the bowl and coat generously.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably several hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill or roast chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve alongside roasted vegetables or over fluffy rice.

Notes

Allow ample time for marinating to enhance flavor. Avoid piercing chicken while cooking to retain juices.
