Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter until smooth.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated and brown sugars.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugars and whisk until combined.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  6. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
