Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet and shape into hearts.
