Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet and shape into hearts.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
