- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the peanut butter to the butter and sugar mixture and mix until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the milk.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving, warm with optional toppings like ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with coconut oil. Use almond flour for a gluten-free version.
