  • 1 lb Chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable, olive, or butter)

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting your chicken into nugget-sized pieces.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour seasoned with salt, garlic powder, and paprika; beaten eggs; and breadcrumbs mixed with spices.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  4. Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.
  5. Carefully place the breaded chicken in the oil and fry in batches until golden brown (about 5–6 minutes).
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels, sprinkling with salt while hot.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider double dipping in the egg and breadcrumbs. Maintain oil temperature for perfect frying.
