Description
Crispy, tender bites of chicken coated with seasoned flour and breadcrumbs, perfect for snacking or sharing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or almond flour for gluten-free)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch)
- Vegetable or canola oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut your chicken into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches long.
- In a large bowl, combine flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Set up three bowls: one for seasoned flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and then coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Heat about an inch of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For best results, ensure oil is hot enough before frying. Avoid overcrowding the skillet to keep the chicken crispy.
