Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley), for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the pork chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (145°F internal temperature).
- Remove chops from the skillet, then lower the heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce, whisking gently to combine.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them with the glaze and cooking for an additional two minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle freshly chopped herbs over the top before serving.
- Serve the pork chops on a platter, drizzled with remaining sauce.
Notes
For best results, allow pork chops to rest after cooking to retain moisture. Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
