Description
A delightful blend of sweet and savory, this Honey Garlic Pork Chops Skillet transforms ordinary ingredients into a family favorite dish that brings loved ones together.
Ingredients
Scale
- Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless)
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- Fresh Herbs (Thyme or Parsley)
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Season both sides of your pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic, sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in soy sauce and honey, stirring to combine. Let it bubble and thicken for 1-2 minutes.
- Drizzle the glaze over the pork chops, cooking a bit longer, about 2-3 minutes, until cooked through and the glaze is sticky.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh herbs and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve directly from the skillet or transfer to a platter.
Notes
For juicier chops, use bone-in. Don’t skip the resting time after cooking to keep the meat tender.
