Description

A delightful blend of sweet and savory, this Honey Garlic Pork Chops Skillet transforms ordinary ingredients into a family favorite dish that brings loved ones together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Fresh Herbs (Thyme or Parsley)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of your pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic, sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in soy sauce and honey, stirring to combine. Let it bubble and thicken for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Drizzle the glaze over the pork chops, cooking a bit longer, about 2-3 minutes, until cooked through and the glaze is sticky.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh herbs and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve directly from the skillet or transfer to a platter.

Notes

For juicier chops, use bone-in. Don’t skip the resting time after cooking to keep the meat tender.
