Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice to prepare the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, allowing for 15-30 minutes of marination.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Add a little olive oil and place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  5. Flip the salmon carefully, pour the marinade over the top, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions before serving hot.

Notes

For added crunch, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top when serving. Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet while cooking.
