- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Prep the Chicken: Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper.
- Make the Sauce: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
- Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil and cook the chicken until golden brown.
- Add the Sauce and Veggies: Pour the sauce over the chicken, adding the veggies and cooking until just tender.
- Thicken the Sauce: Combine cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Garnish and Serve: Serve over rice or noodles, topped with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute soy sauce with tamari. You can also try tofu or shrimp as a protein substitute.
