- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries
- 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Layer the sliced bananas on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over the bananas.
- Pour the dry cake mix evenly over the layered ingredients.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix until evenly covered.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Serve warm, topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
