- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
- Place the chicken at the bottom of the crockpot and add the onion and garlic on top.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the herbs and freshly ground black pepper on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot and stir to mix with the gravy.
- Serve with sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
Notes
For a thicker gravy, whisk in cornstarch mixed with water before serving. Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
