- 2 cups freshly brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Ice (cubes or crushed)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Milk or non-dairy alternative
Instructions
- Brew your coffee: Start by brewing about 2 cups of your favorite coffee. Allow it to cool.
- Make your brown sugar syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Heat on low until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Mix the drink: In a tall glass, add ice, pour in the chilled coffee, then add 2 tablespoons of your brown sugar syrup and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir gently.
- Cream it up: Add a splash of milk or your non-dairy choice, then stir again. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Serve and enjoy: Garnish with cocoa powder or cinnamon if desired.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, brew coffee with less water. Chill coffee overnight for best results.
