Description
A delightful medley of flavors in one cookie, combining chocolate, dried fruits, nuts, and butterscotch morsels for a joyful holiday treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup mixed nuts
- 1 cup butterscotch morsels
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt; gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits, and any mix-ins you desire.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dollops of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking for enhanced flavor and texture. Use the spoon-and-level method for measuring flour to avoid dense cookies.
