Ingredients

  • 4 fresh salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 34 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or dill)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and pat the salmon fillets dry, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  3. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about a minute.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet, cooking undisturbed for 4–5 minutes.
  5. Flip the fillets gently, pouring the melted butter over the top and cooking for another 3–4 minutes.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon, adding lemon zest and fresh herbs in the last minute of cooking.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
