Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt and black pepper generously.
- Place the wings on a baking rack set inside a pan and bake at 425°F for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the wings are baking, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then add lemon juice, zest, and garlic.
- Once baked, toss the wings in the lemon pepper sauce.
- Serve with extra lemon zest and cracked black pepper on top.
Notes
Experiment with cayenne pepper for extra kick and feel free to use drumsticks or tofu as substitutes for chicken wings.
