- 2 cups boneless chicken (breast or thighs), cut into strips
- 8 ounces fusilli or penne pasta
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream or cream cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden.
- Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and no longer pink.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until vibrant green and slightly tender.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta in a pot of salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream with Parmesan cheese, then pour over the chicken and broccoli mixture, allowing it to bubble and thicken.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet, tossing everything to combine well.
- Serve hot with extra cheese and a twist of black pepper on top.
Notes
Reserve some pasta water before draining to help bind the sauce if needed. This dish can easily be adapted with different proteins or veggies.
