Ingredients

  • 1 bone-in turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey breast by thawing and patting it dry.
  3. Make the maple glaze by whisking together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Baste the turkey breast with half of the maple glaze.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 90 minutes, basting with remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
  6. Check doneness with a meat thermometer (should read 165°F/74°C).
  7. Rest the turkey covered with foil for at least 15-20 minutes.
  8. Serve sliced with remaining glaze from the pan.

Notes

Allow the turkey to rest after roasting for juicy meat. Basting occasionally adds flavor and moisture.
