- 1 bone-in turkey breast
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the turkey breast by thawing and patting it dry.
- Make the maple glaze by whisking together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Baste the turkey breast with half of the maple glaze.
- Roast in the oven for about 90 minutes, basting with remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
- Check doneness with a meat thermometer (should read 165°F/74°C).
- Rest the turkey covered with foil for at least 15-20 minutes.
- Serve sliced with remaining glaze from the pan.
Notes
Allow the turkey to rest after roasting for juicy meat. Basting occasionally adds flavor and moisture.
