Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (basil, thyme, or oregano), chopped
  • Freshly cracked pepper, to taste
  • Chili flakes (optional), to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by cutting mozzarella into cubes and crumbling the feta cheese.
  2. Mix the marinade in a bowl: combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, and chopped fresh herbs.
  3. Add seasoning with freshly cracked pepper and chili flakes (if using). Stir well.
  4. Combine the cheese with the marinade until well coated.
  5. Marinate in the fridge for at least one hour or overnight for best flavor.
  6. Serve on a platter, drizzling remaining marinade and garnishing with fresh herbs.
