A delicious Marinated Cheese Appetizer featuring feta and mozzarella, infused with garlic, fresh herbs, and olive oil.
Ingredients

- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (basil, thyme, or oregano), chopped
- Freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- Chili flakes (optional), to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by cutting mozzarella into cubes and crumbling the feta cheese.
- Mix the marinade in a bowl: combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, and chopped fresh herbs.
- Add seasoning with freshly cracked pepper and chili flakes (if using). Stir well.
- Combine the cheese with the marinade until well coated.
- Marinate in the fridge for at least one hour or overnight for best flavor.
- Serve on a platter, drizzling remaining marinade and garnishing with fresh herbs.
Notes
Use fresh, high-quality cheese and olive oil for the best flavor. Optionally, serve with crusty bread or crackers.
