Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the pork tenderloin dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork tenderloin and sear on all sides until golden, about 3-4 minutes each.
- Toss in the minced garlic and mushrooms, stirring until the mushrooms soften, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine or chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs over the pork.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Let the tenderloin rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Drizzle the sauce from the skillet over sliced pork and serve with extra herbs if desired.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute butter with olive oil. Ensure to let the meat rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
