- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and mix until well combined.
- Sift together flour, matcha powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced a few inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
