- 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Instructions
- Prepare the topping: Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, sprinkling brown sugar and cracked pepper as it cooks.
- Slice the baguette into half-inch thick pieces and brush both sides with olive oil.
- Toast the crostini in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes until golden, flipping halfway.
- Sauté the minced garlic in a pan with olive oil until fragrant.
- Assemble the crostini using sautéed garlic, topped with bacon, fresh herbs, and Parmesan.
- Bake for a few more minutes to meld the flavors.
