- Sauté the Mushrooms: In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms in bacon fat until golden, seasoning to taste.
- Assemble the Crostini: Spread cream cheese or ricotta on each slice, add mushrooms and bacon.
- Garnish: Top with fresh herbs and drizzle with balsamic reduction.
- Serve Warm: Enjoy the crostini immediately from the oven!
