Description

Ingredients

  • 200g Fresh mushrooms (shiitake or cremini)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary)
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1 Egg (for wash)
  • Olive oil (for sautéing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the mushrooms by cleaning and chopping them, then sauté in a skillet with olive oil for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut out star shapes for the trees.
  4. Assemble the trees with layers of brie and sautéed mushrooms between puff pastry pieces.
  5. Brush with an egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with herbs.
