Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Chives
  • Cayenne Pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Mixed Nuts, finely chopped
  • Fresh Herbs (Basil, Parsley, or Dill)
  • Optional Add-ins: Crumbled Bacon, Sun-dried Tomatoes, Olives

Instructions

  1. Preparation of ingredients: Take your cream cheese out of the fridge and allow it to soften at room temperature.
  2. Grate the cheddar cheese, finely chop your herbs, and prepare your flavorings.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic, herbs, and any add-ins in a large bowl.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  5. Coat each cheeseball in finely chopped nuts until fully covered.
  6. Chill the bites on a tray in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
  7. Serve arranged on a platter with crackers and veggie sticks.
