- 8 oz whipped topping
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups crushed cookies (Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by crushing your cookies in a food processor until fine.
- Make the crust by mixing the crushed cookies with melted butter and pressing into a 9×13-inch dish.
- Prepare the cream cheese layer by combining cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then fold in whipped topping.
- Layer half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust, then sprinkle half of the chocolate chips.
- Repeat with another layer of cream cheese mixture, remaining chocolate chips, and peppermint extract.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Serve topped with additional crushed cookies before enjoying.

Use room-temperature cream cheese for easy mixing. Chill overnight for the best texture.
