Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips (semisweet or dark)
  • 1/2 cup Nut Butter (peanut or almond)
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
  • 1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Flakes (unsweetened)
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder (for dusting)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips and nut butter together until smooth, stirring continuously.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed nuts, honey or maple syrup, and coconut flakes until a sticky mixture forms.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the bowl and mix until evenly combined.
  4. Use your hands to shape the mixture into small pinecone shapes.
  5. If desired, roll the truffles in cocoa powder for added texture.
  6. Place on a lined tray and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
