- 1 cup Chocolate Chips (semisweet or dark)
- 1/2 cup Nut Butter (peanut or almond)
- 1/2 cup Crushed Nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
- 1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Coconut Flakes (unsweetened)
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder (for dusting)
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips and nut butter together until smooth, stirring continuously.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed nuts, honey or maple syrup, and coconut flakes until a sticky mixture forms.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the bowl and mix until evenly combined.
- Use your hands to shape the mixture into small pinecone shapes.
- If desired, roll the truffles in cocoa powder for added texture.
- Place on a lined tray and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
