Description

A delightful and nostalgic homemade Oreo Ice Cream that brings family together with every scoop.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 15 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour in two cups of heavy cream and whip on medium-high speed until soft peaks form (3-5 minutes).
  2. Add one cup of sweetened condensed milk and two teaspoons of vanilla extract to the whipped cream and gently fold together.
  3. Crush 15 Oreo cookies and fold them into the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan, smoothing the top, and cover tightly to prevent ice crystals.
  5. Place in the freezer for 4-6 hours or overnight.
  6. Let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping to serve.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. Consider using coconut or almond-based ice creams for a dairy-free option.
