Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 1-inch strips.
  3. Tie each strip into a knot and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil and minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Brush each knot with the garlic oil.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, and herbs.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Brush with more garlic oil after baking.
  9. Serve warm with marinara for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh herbs before baking and check knots five minutes before the baking time is up to avoid over-baking.
