- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and milk until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Melt your peanut butter slightly (about 20 seconds in the microwave) and drizzle half over your batter.
- Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips on top, then pour the remaining batter over the first layers.
- Drizzle the other half of the peanut butter and finish with the rest of the chocolate chips.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
Let the cake cool a bit before slicing to allow the layers to set up nicely. Pairs wonderfully with vanilla ice cream.
