Description

A delightful dump cake combining creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate, perfect for gatherings and family celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Melt your peanut butter slightly (about 20 seconds in the microwave) and drizzle half over your batter.
  6. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips on top, then pour the remaining batter over the first layers.
  7. Drizzle the other half of the peanut butter and finish with the rest of the chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Let the cake cool a bit before slicing to allow the layers to set up nicely. Pairs wonderfully with vanilla ice cream.
