Description
A decadent dessert that layers creamy cheesecake with crunchy pecan pie, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (full-fat)
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Toasted Pecans
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the Cheesecake Layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Gradually add heavy cream while continuing to beat until soft peaks form. Stir in vanilla extract until well combined.
- Make the Pecan Mixture: In a separate bowl, mix half of the toasted pecans with brown sugar and some caramel sauce. This will be the crunchy layer.
- Layer the Trifle: In a glass trifle dish or individual cups, start with a layer of graham cracker crumbs followed by cheesecake mixture. Add a layer of the pecan mixture, then repeat the layers, finishing with cheesecake on top.
- Garnish and Chill: Top with remaining pecans and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
Keep ingredients at room temperature for easier blending. Use a piping bag for the cheesecake mixture for beautiful layers.
