Description

Delicious chocolate bombs filled with cocoa and peppermint that transform your warm milk into a festive delight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz chocolate (dark or milk)
  • 1 cup hot cocoa mix
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint or candy canes
  • 4 oz white chocolate (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate by chopping it into small pieces and melting it in the microwave or a double boiler until smooth.
  2. Mold the shells using silicone molds by coating the insides with melted chocolate.
  3. Chill the molds in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate hardens completely.
  4. Fill each half with hot cocoa mix, mini marshmallows, and crushed peppermint.
  5. Seal the bombs by warming a plate and attaching the open edge of a chocolate half to it, then pressing it to a filled half.
  6. Decorate by drizzling melted white chocolate over the bombs and sprinkling with crushed candy canes.
  7. Store the finished bombs in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for the best results. Make sure to temper the chocolate for a shiny finish.
