Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, and baking powder.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and peppermint extract. Beat lightly.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until just incorporated.
- Fold in half of the crushed candy canes, reserving the rest for topping.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooled slightly, drizzle a glaze over the biscuits and sprinkle with the remaining crushed candy canes.
- Let cool completely before serving.
