Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the egg whites in a spotless mixing bowl.
- Whip the egg whites on medium speed until foamy, then add granulated sugar gradually.
- Add powdered sugar and peppermint extract until stiff glossy peaks form.
- Pipe or spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet, forming little nests.
- Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until dry but not browned.
- Cool completely with the oven door ajar.
- Melt the chocolate and drizzle over the cooled meringues.
