Instructions

- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, oil, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combining gently.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare frosting by mixing softened cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar; add a splash of peppermint extract.
- Frost the cookies and sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
