Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk heavy cream, egg, and peppermint extract, then pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in white chocolate chips.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and pat into a circle about 1 inch thick. Cut into wedges or circles.
- Place scones on a baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Let cool on a wire rack, then serve.
