- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pistachio cream
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each one is well incorporated.
- Stir in the vanilla and pistachio cream until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder, then gradually add this to the wet ingredients alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
For a nut-free option, use almond extract and finely ground oats. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
